_Can I still book CTC if my event is miles away?
CTC travel around the world performing events. Distance is not an issue. Travel expenses will be taken into account when booking.
Can CTC provide dance/background music sets throughout the night between live performances?
Yes. You will need to specify when booking.
How long does it take CTC to set up?
Approximately 1 hour is the typical 'loading in' time. This is assuming that is it possible to park within a few metres of the performance area.
What kind of music do they play?
Generally Pop/rock/funk/dance music from 50s - present day. Please check the repertoire for more details.
How long will they play for?
This depends on the package you have selected. Generally they will play for 2 hours.
Will they play for 2 hours straight?
You may split your live performances however you like.
If for example, you order a package that includes 2 hours of live music you may split these two hours into:
e.g.
- 1 x 2 hours
- 2 x 1 hour (recommended)
- 3 x 45 minutes
What does CTC's curfew mean?
The final live set must be finished by this point. It does not include load out time and occasionally, if arranged, one final DJ/interval set.
Will they learn tracks that aren't on the repertoire?
Of course! They can learn any track you like and as many as you wish. There will be a separate charge to book rehearsal time as they take particular pride in perfecting new songs.
Can I pick the songs I want for my event?
Yes, you can send a highlighted list of all your favorite tracks from the repertoire when booking.
Can I choose the music for the intervals?
Of course! Please supply a MP3 player, iPod or CD with your set lists. This must be pre-arranged and given to the band on arrival. If you want complete control it is advisable to separate them into sets.
For example - 'early evening set', 'mid evening set' & 'late evening set'
How many songs can I pick?
For a two hour set you will need to pick approximately 30 tracks.
How can I find out what other people have said about CTC?

How do I know if CTC are available for my event?
Please visit the 'Booking/contract' tab at the top of the page and click on the online calendar link.
Can I see CTC live before booking?
Yes. However, as most CTC events are private we urge you to see the boys perform in their original act Ocasan. For more information please see the 'Ocasan' tab above. Dates can be found there.
Who are Ocasan?
Ocasan are CTCs original band. Luke, Nick and Rich performing their own material.
Can I book Ocasan?
This is possible - please submit an enquiry form and describe the event in detail.
When booking, what do I need to arrange with the venue?
- Space - A minimum of Width = 5m, Depth = 3m.
- Power - A minimum of two separate wall sockets (32 amps)
- Load in - The further from the stage, the longer it will take for them to set up and less time to rock! The closer the better.
- Refreshments - A meal and soft drinks will need to be provided for the band. This will vary depending on the event.
- Volume - Please be sure to let the venue know you are booking a live band and they will be loud! CTC will work to accommodate any event so even grandma can "get on down" but there is no volume switch on an acoustic drum kit. Alternatively you may book them with an electric kit as this is adjustable.
- Someone to liaise with the band on arrival.
Is it just the evening that CTC perform?
They can perform 24/7 if you wish - this will be made more clear on the 'Quotes' tab above. All events are tailor made and open for discussion.
The venue are going on about PAT (portable appliance test) and PLI (public liability insurance). What do they want from me?!

Should we supply staging for CTC?
Ideally yes. This always makes a big difference to every event. However, it is not essential.
Can I supply my own lighting and/or DJ
Yes, this is not an issue. As long as the DJ contacts the band prior to the event to organise details.
How much space do I need to provide for the band to perform?
As a full band a minimum of Width = 5m, Depth = 3m. Acoustic performances can be smaller.
Will they need power sockets?
Yes, a minimum of two separate wall sockets (32 amps)
How far in advance can I book CTC?
Generally the band will take bookings up to 1 year. Please feel free to submit an enquiry and we will let you know if it is possible.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, we take a 20% confirmation fee to hold the date for you.
When do I need to pay my deposit?
On signing the final contract.
What happens when we want to confirm?
We will write up a contract with all the details for your event. You will need to sign and return this to the Justplay address below.

When do I need to make final payment?
The final payment will need to be made on the day of the event.
How can I pay?
We accept cheque or BACS transfer. Cheques should be made out to 'CTC' and have a cheque guarantee number written on the back.
Once contacted how long will it take for you to get back to me?
Usually within 3 working days
I know a really good guitarist! Can he play a song with you on the night?
Generally this is not an option. However, if you explain the situation on your booking form the band will consider it. This must be arranged before the event. It will not be considered on the night.
Can I take the band home with me?
